NOT thinking too much

I'm so relieved that I haven't been thinking about Eric much lately. A lot of things still remind me of him everyday, but I don't really spend time imagining what our conversations would be like and stuff like that. I have enough to worry about in real life...yes, he was hot. He seemed wise beyond his years. The whole thing is still intriguing. But I hope the obsession has worn off for good...(probably not though)

  2. i've just read your whole blog and i'm sickened. i feel some compassion for dylan and eric as well, but no matter what, they chose to KILL innocent people and you're basically celebrating that on this blog. (people definitely are in the comments, which is sick). eric was a psychopath which means he didn't feel emotions. he would have been disgusted by your emotions, even if he didn't show it to your face. psychopaths do not feel love, even for their own mothers. meeting the right girl wouldn't have stopped him from doing what he did, unless she somehow offered him a prize better than killing other kids. you're naive and misinformed about mental illness. his journal is fascinating and i'm sure he would have been have interesting to talk to but if you really think a boy who killed so many innocent people would love you and be a good boyfriend, than you have issues and are likely going to end up in an abusive relationship yourself. seek help

plus you saying you call dylan "dyl-hole" in your head - isn't that the attitude that they hated in their peers?

    1. People are not happy and celebrating the fact that they killed 13 students. They are just commenting on their fascination with Eric Harris. And I cannot stress this enough but Eric being a physcopath will probably remain a mystery. He was never diagonis as one and Cullen came up with that dumb theory by reading his journals. He knew that one day many, many people would read his journal so he was keeping an audience in mind and was trying to come off as a confident badass (REB) I disagree that he didnt have any emotions. Anger and sadness are emotions which I think he was alot of the time I'm sure he felt happy at times too which is also an emotion. Eric showed alot of love towards his mother in the basement tapes and I doubt that and him crying on camera was fake.

    2. Neither were sociopaths, psychopaths, anti-social personality disorder....they did not suffer that. Neither Eric or Dylan did. It is something that came up because people read his journal and wanted to believe that no one could say/do those things otherwise.

While you have every right to feel the way you do, I am a person who has felt the way Eric and Dylan did. Believe me or not, I changed. Well, I realized some things.

Please understand that this is something you cannot understand unless you've felt it. There is so much sorrow in my heart over these boys, others like them, and what I almost did.
Just as in drug abuse, there is no way someone can help someone else in such a personal way without understanding it. Which takes much more than books.

Criticizing makes a person feel less involved. Less cared for.
With people in such low places -- not everyone on here in NO means, that does nothing but fuel the fire. Offer your opinion and offer "help" but if you truly want to help, don't ostracize when you don't know.

  3. The first paragraph is repetitive stuff that I've heard too many times before, so I barely took in what you were saying...

and I'm not going to kiss a dead person's ass by denying the fact that the name Dylan makes me think "Dyl-hole". I don't put Eric and Dylan on a pedestal like some people.

  5. It's strange, but I was born the same year as Eric Harris, but I don´t think I am his doppelganger LOL... I remember the paranoia at school that week!... I was about to graduate just like them, and teachers were afraid specially from some antisocial students... I was a normal kid, but some days before the events, I carried a fake gun to school for an act about "Violence on TV" and students began to make fun of me about that, so the school guards went to interrogate me... what a mad world!

  7. Jade, I also think about Eric much more than I probably should. There is just something about him that is so intriguing and fascinating. I dont by any means condone what Eric and Dylan did on April 20th but at the same time I dont think they were truely horrible people either. And I agree that Eric is incredibly HOT!!

  8. I'm an 18 year old guy and have no sexual attraction to either Dylan or Eric (just making it clear since it seems like there is mostly women posting on here) but the mystery of Eric Harris fascinates me on such a huge level that it feels like its wrong I think its mainly the psychology of the entire thing I've read his entire journal watched all the released home videos even read the transcripts of the basement tapes and watched the full cafeteria CCTV recording, having just finished high school last may my high school days are over but I feel like I can relate to some of the things he wrote about and talked about in his videos. I never played sports, wasn't the most popular guy but still had friends etc etc I don't know if I'm the only guy who feels this way but it sure does feel that way since I have no one to really talk about the subject with, I think I would of gotten along well with Eric and Dylan I would bring them into my friend group if it were possible, shit I could write about the subject for hours. A line in Eric's journal says "this is what I want to do with my life" and he had the balls to carry out something that would be insanely nervewracking for anyone which I'm sure it was its probably why I'm so fascinated by columbine because of the year of planning they took and all they left behind for us to see and wonder about which is why they left so much behind in the first place Rest in peace boys I hope it was worth it wherever you are. I dunno I'm just rambling now thanks for listening ladies !! Cool blog btw

    1. I'm also very fascinated by Eric and he's the main reasons why I am so interested in Columbine in the first place. I could be wrong but from what I've read it seems like there are more people who are fascinated with Eric than Dylan. Many people including myself can also relate on some level to Eric and that might be one of the reasons why people are so interested in him. But it does irritate me when people accuse others of being sick and twisted and need serious help just because they are fascinated with him.

There are other guys who are fascinated with the subject too and there's always discussion boards or blogs like this one that allows people to talk about their Columbine fascination without people thinking and deeming them as weird and/or twisted.

I also wish I could have been friends with Eric and Dylan or even just know them. I also hope they are finally at peace but I honestly dont think all the pain and suffering they had put on their family, friends, etc was worth the revenge or fame.

  15. Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold have been on my mind. Not just Eric or just Dylam but both of them. Their friendship was nothing like i've ever seen. And if any of you haters truly understood what those poor boys went through maybe you would understand why they did what they did. No its not justifiable but society failed those boys. All they asked was to be accepted but its people like you that make it hard. I understand what these boys went through and i understand hoe society made them a monster because its making me into one as well. I understand 13 innocent lives were lost but 2 innocent lives were lost way before 4-20-1999. R.I.P Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, whereever you are, i hope you're having a hell of a time. See you someday.
